Mocha & Axol: The Cacao Chronicles

What if one ordinary cup of mocha could carry you hundreds of years into the past?

When Mocha, a curious tabby cat, and Axol, a thoughtful axolotl, discover a mysterious cup inside Michelle’s Mexican Mocha Café™, they find themselves transported to the breathtaking city of Tenochtitlan, the capital of the Aztec Empire.

As they explore bustling marketplaces, peaceful gardens, artisan workshops, floating chinampas, royal kitchens, and ancient observatories, they meet remarkable people whose wisdom transforms the way they see the world.

Rather than searching for treasure or battling villains, Mocha and Axol discover something far more enduring:

Patience that grows like a carefully tended garden
Gratitude found in every shared meal
Beauty hidden in the smallest details
Courage to ask thoughtful questions
Compassion expressed through everyday kindness
Wonder waiting to be discovered in ordinary moments

Blending historical fiction with gentle fantasy, Mocha & Axol: The Cacao Chronicles introduces young readers to the culture, artistry, and traditions of ancient Mexico through twenty beautifully woven stories that celebrate curiosity, friendship, and lifelong learning.

Whether enjoyed independently or read aloud as a family, this heartwarming adventure encourages readers to slow down, observe the world around them, and appreciate the quiet lessons hidden in everyday life.
